NEW SEASON: THE STRANGER
Enid and Gerald think they have it all when they move to a remote cottage, leaving Enid’s ex-fiance in the past. However, the future holds something dark and horrible for the new couple. To say more would ruin the thrill…and thrills abound in this classic Agatha Christie mystery.
The Stranger, published in 2017, is based on a short story written by Christie in the 1920s. Christie converted the story into a stageplay in the 30s, but it was neither published nor performed until many years after her death. Today, The Stranger is just one of many psychological thrillers brought from Agatha Christie’s mind to the stage.
Yorkshire Playhouse will be presenting Agatha Christie’s The Stranger on October 4-6, 10-11, and 13. This is one of five main-season shows coming to the Yorkshire Playhouse in 2024! If you are interested in coming in a large group or plan on seeing more than one show this season, consider purchasing a membership!
