The Yorkshire Playhouse is holding Open Auditions for it's ever popular Christmas show!
1 Adult Male, 2 Adult Female, 1 Boy, & 3 Girl Roles Available
Saturday Auditions will be for Children Only. Children will be asked to perform group cold-reads, improve, and sing a popular Christmas song of their choice, which they may prepare in advance. Children who are being considered for a role will be receive a Call-back to audition with the Adults on Monday and Tuesday. Additional information about auditions will be posted later.
Monday and Tuesday Auditions will be for adults and children who have received a Call-back. Adults should be prepared for cold-reads, improve, and to sing a popular Christmas Song which they should prepare for in advance. Additional information about auditions will be posted later.

The Plot: It’s Christmas time! But for the Ingalls family, life looks bleak. When Laura is asked to act as a companion to Mrs. Starr, she’s excited to be in the midst of finery. However, when she overhears Mrs. Starr offer to adopt her, Laura begins to worry that Ma and Pa will actually give her up. Would that be best for the family? Telling the story of one Christmas from the “missing” years, not chronicled in the books. This poignant and moving story of hope, healing, and family is swept along through dialogue, humor, and period songs. Join the Ingalls family in celebrating Christmas at the Yorkshire Playhouse!
