2025 Directors

Thanks for your interest in directing for our upcoming season! The Board of Directors is excited to create theatre with you this year. Please fill in the form below providing information about your show’s vision and let us know about needs you anticipate at this time.

Directors of the Yorkshire Playhouse must have previously Assistant Directed a show at the Playhouse in order to qualify. If you believe you are qualified but didn’t receive an email regarding the shows for next season, please reach out via the Contact page.

2025 Schedule

Please look at the schedule that was emailed to you for information regarding scheduling and casting. Confirm on the form that the dates work for you and notify the Playhouse if changes are needed.

Please also confirm casting ages. Our policy is to allow Age 15-Up to audition for adult roles, but we can put more specific information if requested. Shows listed with children’s roles will be for listed for Age 10-Up unless otherwise specified.

Rehearsal Schedule

Generally, rehearsals are Mon-Thurs. evenings with additional rehearsals the week before the performances. If you want more or different info listed on the website, please let us know here and we will add it the website audition page for your show.
